By the relevant government decree, on September 1, 2021, the institute of “group curator” for working with students was abolished and the practice of attaching “tutors” who provide direct assistance in troubleshooting students of 1-3 courses was introduced.
The main task of the “tutor” is to strengthen the relationship between the university and students in the effective organization of the educational process, to facilitate the adaptation of students to university life and the educational process, to provide them with methodological, socio—psychological assistance, and to foster students’ love for their chosen profession. At the same time, they regularly analyze and improve the quality of lessons for boys and girls, providing them with full-fledged free time and constantly informing them about their social status.
Today is 11.12.2023. Under the leadership of the rector of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages D.A.Rustamov, a meeting was held on the effectiveness of the work carried out by tutors. Initially, D.Rustamov told about the mistakes that he had observed in the activities of tutors and gave instructions on how to eliminate them. Opinions were expressed on the participation of students in classes, their activity in various competitions and events.
In addition, the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Work B.Akhmedov, speaking with a report, emphasized that delay is allowed in observing the “internal regulations” and the “Code of Conduct” adopted by the Institute’s Council, and noted that it is possible to achieve the intended goal only by working with order and discipline.
