ABOUT THE FACULTY
Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, Faculty of “English Philology, Teaching Methodology and Translation Studies” was established by the decision of the Scientific Council of the institute on August 30, 2022. Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages is a structural division of the management structure. His activities are 60230200 – Theory and practice of translation (English language), 610110500 – Guiding and translation activities, conducting undergraduate and educational processes in an integrated and harmonious manner, scientific and pedagogical personnel directed to coordination of training, teaching-methodical, spiritual-educational, scientific-research work of the departments.
According to the order of the Rector of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages No.____ of 2022, Doctor of Philology (PhD) A. Ataboyev was appointed to the position of Dean of the Faculty of English Philology, Teaching Methodology and Translation Studies.
Currently, the faculty has 2 departments:
- Integrated course of teaching foreign languages
- Guiding, intercultural communication and translation studies
Currently, these departments have 2 professors, 1 candidate of science associate professor, 2 Doctor of Philosophy in Philology (PhD) associate professors, 7 Doctor of Philosophy in Philology (PhD) duty bearer associate professors, 4 senior teachers, 38 assistant teachers and 6 employees are working. As of January 20 of the 2023-2024 academic year, a total of 1882 students are studying.
