1993-1998 –   Student at Andijan State Pedagogical Institute of Languages;

1998-2002 –  Assistant at the department of lexis and stylistics of the English language at the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute of Languages;

2002 -2005 –    Postgraduate student at the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute of Languages;

2005-2010 –    Senior teacher at the department of English lexis and stylistics, at the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute of Languages;

2010-2012 –   Senior teacher at the department of phonetics and lexis of the English Language, at the Andijan State University;

2012- 2017 –      Head of the Department of English Phonetics and Lexicography, at the Andijan State University; 

2017-2021 –    Senior teacher at the Department of English Phonetics, at the  Andijan State University;

2021-2022 –  Head of the Department of Foreign language teaching methodology at the Pedagogical Institute of Andijan State University;

2022 –       Head of the department of Guide Support, Intercultural Communication and Translation Studies at the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages.

 

History of the department

Based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 31, 2022 No. PQ-265 on the creation of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages ​​was created. As part of the Faculty of English Philology, Teaching Methods and Translation Studies, the Department of Guide Support, Intercultural Communication and Translation Studies has been created. Ph.D., J.Egamberdiev, was appointed as a head of the department. Currently, the department has 20 professors, including 4 doctors of philosophy, 2 senior teachers, 14 teachers.

Activities of clubs organized at the department

The department has clubs “Young Translator” and “Conversation Club”. In addition, talented students are encouraged to appear in periodicals, write scientific articles and dissertations, ensure active cooperation with the youth affairs department of the institute, and participate in various exhibitions and competitions with their ideas and developments. Methodological recommendations are given by teachers and supervisors. Under the leadership of the head of the department J. Egamberdiev and responsible professors and teachers A. Yakhshiboev, U. Mirzakamolov, H. Kodirov and A. Akhmedov, the activities of the clubs were effectively organized.
