The Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages hosted the institutional stage of the republican competition “Ma’rifat maydoni” in order to ensure the active participation of young people in the large-scale reforms carried out in our country, inspire students to noble goals, use the impressive power of literature, study the heritage of their ancestors, create great literature worthy of our great culture.
Teams from 3 faculties participated in the competition under 3 contests:
Contest 1: The Life of a Sage;
Contest 2: Quick Questions and Answers;
Contest 3: Theatrical productions from the life and work of writers.
At the competition, students from all faculties demonstrated their knowledge about the life and work of poets and writers and presented excerpts from their life path on stage. According to the final decision of the jury, the winner and prize-winners received:
1st place: Faculty of Romano-Germanic and Slavic Languages team “Yog’du”;
2nd place: Faculty of English Philology, Teaching Methods and Translation Studies team “Humo”;
3rd place: Faculty of English Language and Literature team “Iste’dodli yoshlar”.
The winners and prize-winners were awarded special diplomas and cash prizes.
The administration of the Institute expresses its gratitude to the students who participated in today’s competition and their mentors.
