Every year, December 1 is traditionally celebrated as “World AIDS Day”. This date is aimed at drawing public attention to issues of support for AIDS patients, raising awareness of the symptoms of the disease and its prevention.
On December 01, 2023, a round table on the topic “AIDS and HIV prevention” was held at the Faculty of Romano-Germanic and Slavic Languages of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages on the initiative of faculty teachers in connection with December 1 – World AIDS Day.
This round table was held by the Dean of the Faculty M.Pazilov opened and introduced the invited guests to the audience. After that, the specialist of the Andijan Regional AIDS Control Center, epidemiologist Oktamzhanov Ikramjon and Akhmedova Zebiniso told about AIDS and HIV and its consequences and answered the students’ questions.
