History of the Master’s department

Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages Master’s Department was established in 2022. In 2022, Satimova Dilafruz Nomonjonovna, candidate of philological sciences, worked as the head of the Master’s department. Since 2023, Kasimova Madina Zaynobidinovna, candidate of philological sciences, has been working as the head of the Master’s department.

Activities of the Master’s department

The educational process at the master’s degree is the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approval of state educational standards of higher education” No. 343 of August 16, 2001, No. 36 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 2, 2015 “Regulation on Master’s Degree” approved by the decision, as well as master’s degree specialties approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan are being organized in accordance with the curricula and programs. Highly qualified professors and teachers: academicians, scientists with the scientific degrees of doctor of science and candidate of science, professor and associate professor are attracted to the graduate students of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages. The bank of master’s theses topics of master’s students was created on the basis of the recommendation of the leading professors and teachers of the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, research institutes of the UZFA, and are topical topics devoted to the problems of linguistics and translation studies. Internship by students of magistracy specialties of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 30.11.2015 No. 9-2015 “Procedure of internship by students of magistracy specialties of higher educational institutions” is being organized on the basis of the order “On approval of the Regulation on Compliance of education with modern technical tools and provision of scientific literature, new achievements of science and technology are being rapidly introduced into the educational process.

Functions of the Master’s department

The Master’s Department operates with two staff members (the department head and an instructor) working together. The Master’s Department coordinates the preparation of master’s degree students at the institute, in collaboration with the departments and dean’s offices, by:

to support the organization and implementation of the educational process for the preparation of masters, to control the quality of education and training provided to them;
conducting educational research and scientific research works;
to coordinate and control the activities of all faculties on the preparation of masters;
provides regular monitoring of master’s training and their future employment, analysis of master’s training issues and regular preparation of reports on them.
